Your Gemstone Astrology
You may be aware of what your birthstone is, but outside of signifying what your birth month is, this gemstone doesn’t really DO anything for you. It doesn’t necessarily bring you you good luck or good fortune. You may know what your Sun Sign is, but a more potent helper is knowing what your sidereal Ascendant sign is. This may be key to unlocking a gemstone buddy for you that could be helpful with your life journey.
Sidereal Astrology
You see, in Eastern Astrology, also know as Jyotish, a person has a more intimate relationship with the planets. Some are beneficial; some are troublesome depending on your Ascendant sign. Each planet rules a specific set of gemstones, and you can use this knowledge to your advantage. Once you know what gemstones to acquire, ancient texts dictate that the gemstones must touch the skin to be most useful and that bigger is better. However, we recommend starting with bead bracelets as a sort of wearable energy grid worn on the left hand. Just to note, the outer three planets are not included in this system.
Finding Your Sidereal Ascendant Sign
You will need to know your birth time in order to find your Ascendant Sign. It is best to check on your birth certificate. If no time is given, ask your Mother. There’s free apps available for your phone that will give you this information plus an astrological reading.
To 13th Annual Association of Holistic Skin Care Practitioners ZOOM Conference
My presentation of “Your Gemstone Astrology” will be available during the online conference for the Association of Holistic Skin Care Practitioners. It looks at gemstone astrology through the lens of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry and marriage and runs approximately 25 minutes.
